《西部考古》是在西北大學(xué)“雙一流”建設(shè)項(xiàng)目、考古學(xué)陜西省重點(diǎn)學(xué)科建設(shè)項(xiàng)目、考古學(xué)與文化遺產(chǎn)學(xué)學(xué)科建設(shè)陜西省特色學(xué)科建設(shè)項(xiàng)目、陜西省普通高等學(xué)校優(yōu)勢(shì)學(xué)科建設(shè)項(xiàng)目資助下，由文化遺產(chǎn)研究與保護(hù)技術(shù)教育部重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、西北大學(xué)絲綢之路文化遺產(chǎn)保護(hù)與考古學(xué)研究中心、邊疆考古與中國(guó)文化認(rèn)同協(xié)同創(chuàng)新中心和西北大學(xué)唐仲英文化遺產(chǎn)研究與保護(hù)技術(shù)實(shí)驗(yàn)室聯(lián)合編的學(xué)術(shù)半年刊。本輯收錄考古調(diào)查發(fā)掘報(bào)告及研究論文等共計(jì)22篇，以中國(guó)西部地區(qū)為立足點(diǎn)，面向全國(guó)，內(nèi)容涉及考古學(xué)、文物學(xué)、文化遺產(chǎn)保護(hù)與研究等多個(gè)方面。
